'I Thought It Would Be Easier'

In the days leading up to President Donald Trump's first 100 days of office, a popular television is taking the golden opportunity to exploit the event. They have erected the worst delay of Cabinet picks in US history, mounted a filibuster of his universally acclaimed Supreme Court nominee, fought his efforts to rewrite Obamacare and prompted investigations into his administration's dealings with Russian Federation.

No doubt many liberal pundits will provide harsh critiques of President Donald Trump's first 100 days in office, but it's hard to imagine any of them will compare to the savagery of - yes - The Simpsons.

It was not immediately clear whether the leak was a genuine threat to the key agreement involving Canada and Mexico, or a message to the Trump base and an opening gambit in trade talks with the two neighbors.

"A hundred days in office, so many accomplishments", "The Simpsons" Trump character says while sitting up in his bed scrolling through his cellphone. "But now it's spread to the morning". I think he was sort of playing there, but it speaks to the pride that he has in that map.

The gallows humour starts with White House press secretary Sean Spicer hanging from a noose with a sign saying "I quit" and Kellyanne Conway quickly running away declaring that she doesn't want his job.

"I thought it was more of a - I'm a details oriented person. There is some common goal".

Over a third - 37 percent - of United States citizens said they thought that the Trump administration was telling them the truth, while only 29 percent of respondents trusted the USA political media to be honest with them, Morning Consult said on Friday. What was going on, in reality, was that voters weren't particularly impressed by the press's daily savaging of President Reagan.

Mr. McConnell said that has led to "just delay for delay's sake". Trump has made no trips overseas (at this juncture, Barack Obama had visited nine countries), and he has fewer than half as many nominees confirmed for senior positions as Obama did at this point.

Veteran congressional investigators say the best answer is to simply not fight the inquiries, by either withholding documents or distracting. They will send you spiraling downward again into that October 2016 I-can't-believe-this-is-all-really-happening vortex.
