Swansea boss Paul Clement hoping to avoid historic relegation play-off with Hull

Marco Silva's Hull will look to pull clear of relegation rivals Swansea this weekend

"The difference between playing at home and playing away offensively is too big - if you don't score, you don't win".

The mood among the Swansea supporters has been transformed since earlier in the season when the combination of the controversial change of ownership last summer and terrible results on the pitch made the atmosphere at the Liberty Stadium toxic. "I'm only concentrating on my work to help my team".

The Swans have kept consecutive home clean sheets in the league for the first time this season.

As well as the Toffees visiting Wales this weekend, West Brom will travel to face a Swansea side that have taken nearly double the number of points at home as they have on the road. Swansea head coach Clement said. Following closely behind, is midfield general Gylfi Sigurdsson, who has found the net on nine occasions domestically, reaching ten in all competitions.

Swansea headed into the break in the lead and having contained the impressive Romelu Lukaku, Paul Clement will have been thrilled at the break.

Jefferson Montero (hamstring) is unlikely to play again this season.

Everton may have already qualified for the Europa League but that did not stop them giving Swansea several scares before the hosts held on to a precious win at the Liberty Stadium. The Toffee's are now ranked 6th in the league, and the club has big aspirations of European football next season. Hull occupy the last relegation spot.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman, meanwhile, has warned his players they face being dropped if they think they can coast until the end of the season.

"We played a good game with high intensity".

And now Clement's men will go to Sunderland next week with their fate in their own hands, lying a point above Hull with two games each left to play. Dawson put West Brom ahead in the 78th for the Baggies' 15th set-piece goal of the season.

"If you want to defend well it's a collective effort and physical stats show we are working hard".

Hull City's Lazar Markovic lies injured, during the English Premier League soccer match between Hull City and Sunderland, at the KCOM Stadium, in Hull, England, Saturday May 6, 2017.

The Swansea City AFC will draw encouragement from their recent away performance, the visitors managed to salvage a point at the Old Trafford against the famous Red Devils.

That's no excuse for supporters though and it's now the third game on the bounce they have failed to pick up all three points.
