The E3 2017 Nintendo Spotlight will start before the actual event kicks off on Tuesday. In this year's upcoming E3 event, Nintendo chose to ditch their live presentation.

In addition to these deeper previews, Nintendo Switch owners were also given a better look at Sonic Forces, Sonic Mania, and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers coming later this May.

Some major gaming news got lost in yesterday's Build 2017 hubbub.

The second tournament which is the 2017 ARMS Open Invitational, will be on June 14 and will feature Nintendo's upcoming ARMS fighting game for Nintendo Switch.

Microsoft says the game is launching today, but will first be available on the Nintendo eShop in North America, before rolling out in Europe and Japan tomorrow.

Mojang has also clarified that Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition runs at 720p resolution and 60 frames-per-second, regardless of whether you're utilizing the Switch as a handheld console or via the TV. While Nintendo won't be having a traditional press conference at the show, they will be running the Nintendo Spotlight: E3 video presentation they've been running with for the last few years. The legendary games company is really showing its competitors why they've managed to remain in the industry for such a long time.
