Preempting Indian bid to convert the Muslim majority in Indian occupied Kashmir into a minority, Pakistan has called upon the United Nations to help thwart such demographic changes. Pakistan denied the allegation.

Pakistani troops have also started indulging in unprovoked firing along the worldwide border of the Jammu and Samba districts. And both sides maintain their troops gave befitting reply to the other side.

Tensions reached unsafe levels again last September, with both sides blaming one another for cross-border raids.

"It is hell over here".

May 14 Forced to flee their homes, leaving behind cattle and ready to harvest crops due to frequent shelling by pakistan, the residents along the Line of Control are batting for construction of "community bunkers" in their villages. Meanwhile, a Lashkar-e-Taiba module in the Chenab Valley area of Jammu region, set up with the aim of reviving militancy in the area, has been busted, police said.
