BJP Thiruvananthapuram President Threatens CPM, 'Hate Speech' Case Filed

RSS man's murder 'Jail me if celebration video is proven fake'

"If the government fails to check the political violence, the BJP along with the Sangh Parivar will lead a very big agitation with people of Kerala", Shah said in Kochi before leaving for a three-day visit to Lakhshadweep. BJP Kannur district president P Sathyaprakash said that though the CPM has claimed that it had no role in the murder, such a murder will not be committed without the knowledge of the party. The complaint had alleged that the BJP' leader's tweet, in connection to a murder of an RSS activist in Payyanur, was meant to spread hatred among political parties.A CPM worker from Thillankery in Kannur, Muhammed Siraj, had petitioned chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and state police chief T P Senkumar that Kummanam's post will invite charges under Section 153A of the IPC.

However, Shobha Surendran defended her stand and said that the Governor is not fulfilling his constitutional responsibilities.

The CPI (M) had rejected Rajasekharan's charge and alleged that the BJP leader was trying to add fuel to fire. "All these show the fascist character of the saffron party", he said.

Chennithala also said the UDF does not agree with the demand for imposition of AFSPA in Kannur.

A section of the BJP leadership in the State was now humiliating Governor P. Sathasivam when the effort to invoke AFSPA using Governor's office had failed, he said.

The law and order situation had deteriorated and what was a matter of concern was that the government, despite the killings, was not concerned, he claimed.

O Rajagopal said that such statements should be taken as the "emotional outburst of the young leaders" in the party.

Vijayan also brought up the alleged "excesses of the army under the cover of AFSPA, where the act was in force".

The investigators have already identified the seven-member killer gang and search is on for the remaining members of the gang.

The RSS worker was hacked to death at Payyanur town in Kannur district, that has witnessed a series of clashes between ruling CPI (M) and RSS for the past one year.
