Won't allow `special` Kane to leave, says Tottenham manager

Kane can wrap up the Golden Boot by getting on the scoresheet again in Tottenham's final game at Hull tomorrow and he is already hungry for more after his first professional four-goal haul.

"Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that there is no chance Harry Kane would be allowed to leave the club after the "special" striker displayed a fantastic performance during their Premier League clash against leicester-city/23814" target=_blank Leicester City.

The 45-year-old Argentinian said he was not anxious Kane would leave in the close season as Spurs were in a position to keep the players they wanted to keep.

The young Englishman now stands two goals ahead of rival Romelu Lukaku and heads into Sunday's game at Hull with the opportunity to reclaim the Golden Boot award.

West Ham United vice-chairwomen Karren Brady has delivered a one-word verdict on the new value of Tottenham striker Harry Kane by claiming that he is "priceless".

“It is very clear we will keep the players we want to keep and we will maybe sell the players we want to sell, ” said Pochettino.

"I think he was one of the key players of the season, like Harry, like [Dele] Alli".

"We wanted to improve this season and this type of performance showed we have learnt a lot", the Argentinian said of the match in which South Korean forward Son Heung Min also grabbed a brace. He is great, he is one of the best strikers in the world.

“It is disappointing to concede but hopefully, we can keep a clean sheet against Hull, ” added Kane, who has scored five hat-tricks for his club in just over two years. I think there were three games I did not score in (at the start of the season) and then I went on a good run.

But unfortunately for the north Londoners, who have won 11 of their last 12 league games, champions Chelsea have been even more consistent.

"I felt good. Leicester made it tough for us, they came out in the second half and really put the pressure on". We were talking a lot about last season when we finished so badly. "We spoke a lot about changing that feeling and finishing in the best way", he said.
