GTA 6 Will Snub PS4 Pro For Project Scorpio

GTA 6 Will Snub PS4 Pro For Project Scorpio

When Project Scorpio was revealed past year, Microsoft made it very clear that developers would be required to have the same FPS on Xbox One and Project Scorpio. His answer, in this particular instance, was a definitive no. "Developers are free to choose how they use the power of Project Scorpio for games", Corporate Vice President of Xbox Program Management Mike Ybarra tweeted over the weekend.

In a reply to a fan on Twitter, Ybarra emphasized that there is no such directive as of yet.

For the record, Project Scorpio is going to be compatible with all Xbox One games, and if developers want to deliver a more graphical experience, they can do so via Scorpio editions of said games.

For those who don't know, gamers have been voicing out about this topic because Project Scorpio players will have an unfair advantage over Xbox One players in multiplayer if there's no FPS parity.

However, in spite of knowing the full range of the Scorpio's specs, he did mention that he can not commit to native 4K and 60fps for the Scorpio version of The Wild Eight but they will try to achieve that when they start developing for it.

So totally hypothetically, let's say we finally get that Halo 6 we've been wishing for, and when we get the game, it looks just a tad blurry or not as pristine as it could be as you go around shooting people up.

On Microsoft's Xbox website, Project Scorpio has its own page, which includes a link for pre-order and also lists things to expect from the next-generation gaming console. It is a situation that is similar to PS4 and PS4 Pro.

It will be one hell of a run with the Scorpio, not only will there be actual competition to PCs other than exclusive titles, you will be able to actually compare PC and console graphics with Microsoft's latest behemoth.

There is very little time for Microsoft to show us Project Scorpio at its E3 2017 conference, which will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, June 11.
