Donald Trump's son-in-law under Federal Bureau of Investigation radar in Russian Federation probe

However, Moscow has repeatedly denied the allegations and Trump has said he has not collaborated with Russian Federation.

US President Donald Trump with son-in-law Jared Kushner. The meeting came on the heels of Kushner's meeting with Russia's ambassador to the US, Sergey Kislyak, at Trump Tower, in which he reportedly floated the possibility of setting up a secure line of communication between the Trump transition team and Russian Federation.

Kislyak allegedly told his higher-ups that Kushner floated the proposal for back-channel communications during a conversation between the two and former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn at Trump Tower on December 1 or December 2. It did not specify what came of Kushner's alleged pitch, if anything.

Neither The White House nor Flynn would comment on the story to The Post.

"If it's true that somebody did ask for some kind of private line, some kind of mode of communication that was secure, that was unusual, boy does that raise a whole bunch of questions".

Besides reaching a decision on the climate agreement once back in Washington, Trump will also face a new crush of Russia-related controversies.

The report is the latest allegation of potential collusion between Trump's campaign team and Russian Federation, which U.S. government intelligence agencies have accused of meddling in last year's election in the Republican's favour. There was no immediate White House reaction. CBS News reported that Trump is expected to consider plans for a shakeup of his communications operation upon his return.

Kushner is a polished 36-year-old property developer married to Trump's daughter Ivanka.

In addition to defeating the charges in relation to Moscow's influence in the Trump's government, the effort will focus on advancing the politicized agenda of the frozen president. Kushner has offered to talk to Congress about these meetings, according to his lawyer. And less than two weeks later, the idea was dropped when Mr. Trump announced that Rex W. Tillerson, a former chief executive of Exxon Mobil who had worked closely with Russian officials on energy deals, was his choice to become secretary of state.

The shift in the FBI's focus to Kushner in the Russian Federation probe is bringing investigators to Trump's inner circle, which could - in theory - lay the groundwork for additional pressure on Trump, whose potential impeachment offenses continue to mount.

Three White House officials said the president's chief of staff has privately expressed concerns about a possible memo compiled by ousted Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey about one of their reported conversations, reported The Daily Beast.

"Since the firing of Comey, that really exposed the fact that the White House in its current structure.is not prepared for really a one-front war, let alone a two-front war", he said. But if you look at all this as it has unraveled - Russia's clear intervention on Trump's behalf, Trump's firing of James Comey in an attempt to stop the FBI investigation, the multiple, unprecedented and undisclosed contacts between Russian officials and those at the highest levels of the Trump campaign, and Trump's attempts to disrupt NATO, Russia's most-feared adversary - I can't honestly make that argument any longer.

'What's not normal is what the consensus of the intelligence agencies was: that Russian Federation had interfered in the 2016 election'.

Trump has denied any collusion with Russian Federation, calling the probe "the greatest witch hunt" in American political history.

The Russian intelligence at issue purported to show that former Attorney General Lynch had been compromised in the Clinton investigation.

The letter from the Senate panel seeking all documents, emails and telephone records arrived at Trump's campaign committee last week and was addressed to its treasurer, the Post said.

Kislyak has been at the center of contacts between Trump administration officials and Russian Federation.
