"There is no constitutional provision for NOTA in the Rajya Sabha polls and no order from the Election Commission", the Congress said in the Supreme Court.

Congress has also accused the incumbent Gujarat government of trying to lure 22 Congress lawmakers by offering Rs 15 crores and asking them to cross vote during the polls.

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said the grand old party will neither bow down nor it will be intimidated by BJP's "political conspiracies" like IT department raids.

"The minister & his brother, an elected representative, are coordinating stay of Gujarat MLAs, that is why it is a targeted timing", Anand Sharma told the RS.

"The search team has no concern with the MLAs and there has been no contact with MLAs and the search team", the department said in a statement.

Gohil, himself a Gujarat MLA camping here, claimed he has a video clipping that contradicted the government's version that the place where MLAs are lodged was not searched.

Suresh, representing Bengaluru rural constituency, said that raids were also conducted on his office and houses in Bengaluru and New Delhi.

Senior Congress leader, Anand Sharma, who is also deputy leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, said that the EC can not introduce NOTA without a Constitutional amendment, reported India Today.
