A Nation Weeps as Sean Spicer Turns Down Dancing With the Stars

Report Spicer turns down 'Dancing with the Stars'

"The Mooch" has since been axed from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Spicer is said to have signed with Barnett as well as Michael O'Connor of Williams & Connolly after taking a round of meetings with news networks like NBC, CBS, and Fox News.

There seems to be a certain interest in what the future holds for former members of the Trump administration.

Barnett represented clients such as Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Madeleine Albright and Ben Bernanke.

The representation being given to Spicer will include all TV deals, consultancies and speaking appearances.

Sources familiar with Spicer's plans have said he turned down offers to appear on Dancing with the Stars, reportedly after he discussed being on the show with his wife.

According to sources close to Spicer, he wouldn't have fared well anyway - "He's not a good dancer", they told TMZ.

He's reportedly not a very good dancer and would nearly certainly have not made it past the first few rounds, but if anyone is used to embarrassing themselves in front of millions of Americans, it's Sean Spicer.

But alas. We don't want to ruin your weekend with such heartbreaking news, so allow us to present this as a silver lining: just because Sean Spicer turned down Dancing with the Stars, doesn't necessarily mean he won't participate in other reality TV shows.

Aides who once reported to Spicer told Politico they aren't sure what he does all day since resigning, but he's been spotted at meetings on tax reform and attending some public ceremonies and giving his family a tour of the White House grounds.
