#EndorseThis: Colbert Calmly Predicts, "We're All Gonna Die"

"I don't want to be alarmist: We're all going to die", Colbert continued, "because USA intelligence now believes North Korea is making missile-ready nuclear weapons".

It was an escalation of words Tuesday between the US and North Korea, following reports that the small country had created a warhead small enough to fit on top of an intercontinental ballistic missile.

The host of "The Late Show" was referring to the burgeoning feud between President Donald Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong-un.

"How is that fair?"

An expert on North Korea security told LBC that the rogue nation will NOT start a nuclear war with the United States - unless they are provoked into doing so.

Des Moines residents said the back-and-forth dialogue between the United States and North Korea was "terrifying", "out of control", and not a "positive thing". "Maybe you should threaten other countries too".

Quinn, who was a US ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, said there's no need to panic.

President Donald Trump's daily pronouncements typically are greeted by most Americans with a mixture of sarcasm and humor.

"The Late Show" played the clip of Trump promising to bring "fire and fury" if North Korea continued with its threats. And I just started the "Handmaid's Tale.' You know Kim Jong-un is insane, right?"

"Indeed you know if you agree with me that the North Koreans are pursuing a nuclear capability to keep others away rather than to conduct an offensive attack out of the blue, then unless we provoke the North Koreans and do so in a way that allows for serious miscalculation then we're unlikely to be entering a conflict anytime soon". "He's a loose cannon like Mel Gibson in 'Lethal Weapon" and also that one time he got pulled over".
