Justin Bieber & Bloodpop: 'Friends' Stream, Lyrics & Download

Justin Bieber And BloodPop's 'Friends' Drops Today Will It Nix 'Despacito's' Mariah Carey Record Ambitions

This is another collaboration with producer and composer BloodPop.

This is just the latest Bieber and BloodPop collaboration, following their work on 2015's goal.

'Friends, ' a song that will instantly make you want to dance and sing along to, marks a reunion of familiar names who Bieber has worked with before.

Entrenching the track in Bieber's hall of fame are songwriters Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who wrote eight-time platinum selling single, Sorry.

The new three-minute-long song has a bouncy, upbeat sensibility and will stick quickly.

With lyrics that read pretty effectively like a post-breakup text chain, the 22-year-old pop star croons lines like, "I was wonderin" "bout your mama, did she get that job she wanted?" and "No, we didn't end this so good, but you know we had something so good". So after a couple hours' worth of "Friends" being there for us, how do the two singles stack up for us? After cancelling the remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour in July, fans at least had this single to look forward to when Bieber officially announced it's release Monday on Twitter. Additionally, Bieber was featured in DJ Khaled's single, "I'm the One".

The move comes just weeks after Bieber made news by abruptly canceling his tour.

The song is titled "Friends", and along with Justin, the artwork lists Bloodpop, which serves as a major indicator to how this new track might sound. Only time will tell.
