Janet Jackson broke down in tears on stage at her concert in Houston on Saturday as she sang emotional abuse song What About.

Onstage at the Toyota Center in Houston, the 51-year-old paused after performing her 1997 song 'What About, ' bent over and sobbed for a few seconds. She even surprised all when she fused Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" instrumental into a remix of "What Have You Done for Me Lately".

The energy was high from both the audience and Janet as she performed hit after hit including "Rhythm Nation", "If", "That's the Way Love Goes", "Miss You Much" and so many more.

And on Friday, Janet Jackson delivered as she visited the George R. Brown Center, which became a Red Cross location after the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey.

Unfortunately, she is in the midst of the divorce process with former husband, Wissam Al Mana, who was her married partner for five years.

The audience at Janet Jackson's Houston show at the weekend were left pretty emotional when she performed her hard-hitting 90s track "What About" for the first time in almost two decades.

The five-time Grammy victor tweeted on Wednesday that she would be arriving in Houston early on Friday in order to meet with victims of Hurricane Harvey. "My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour".

"Please, if you can, try and understand that it's important that I do this now", Jackson explained.

She did not perform "What About" at the concerts she gave before her maternity hiatus. News that "she brought smiles and hugs", and "she seemed very touched seeing all these people sleeping on cots and her dancers were also very moved".
