Google Pixelbook Reseller Listing Reveals Specifications, New "Google Clips" Product

Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel and Pixel XL Receive Video Voicemails from Telus

Google is expected to launch two Pixels - Pixel 2 and a larger Pixel 2 XL - on October 4 that would directly succeed Google's existing line-up.

Google is expected to reveal a big slate of new hardware Wednesday, but plenty of those announcements have already leaked. Presumably, a careless search giant employee left his testing unit visible to nearby compatible gadgets while preparing its installation or performing some last-minute software inspections. The retailer's diminutive smart speaker-dedicated webpage is obviously wiped clean now, but it was up long enough for a bunch of official images to flood the internet. Surprisingly, Walmart's listing also gives us another look at the Pixel 2 XL, this time with the screen on and the Google Home app open.

The page also briefly displayed what appears to be Google's upcoming Pixel 2 XL, according to 9to5 Google. Just as the Google Home was Google's answer to the Amazon Echo, the Google Home Mini is expected to be a Google version of an Amazon Echo Dot.

In addition to the specs for the Pixelbook, the Synnex listing also has a reference to something called "Google Clips", which the system categorizes as a "computer accessory".

The company is known for their high-end premium Google Pixel laptops with Chrome OS and these have come with a high price tag as well. We have heard that a PixelBook is in the works with the pricing around entry-level MacBooks. But many details have already been revealed, including designs and color options for the devices. While the Google Pixel XL 2, which will be priced at $850 for a starting base model. The pricing is $20 higher than its previous version but reports state that it has internal upgrades to enhance the VR experience.

Google is full of surprises, so one can never be sure what tricks it has up its sleeves. It will most likely offer insights on Android Oreo, ARCore, Google Assistant, other hardware and devices.

Stay tuned with us to know everything that takes place at the event tomorrow!
