Reports say Las Vegas shooter booked rooms near Lollapalooza

Police crime scene tape marks a perimeter outside the Luxor Las Vegas hotel and the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino following a mass shooting at the Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas Nevada U.S

According to TMZ, site people the author of numerous scoops, the shooter of Las Vegas Stephen Paddock would have booked two rooms at the hotel Blackstone, overlooking a park in the heart of Chicago, where was held the great festival of music, beginning August.

Paddock also reportedly booked a hotel in Chicago during the Lollapalooza music festival at Grant Park in August, but he never showed up.

Sources say Paddock specifically requested a "view room", or rooms that overlooked Grant Park.

The venue attracts almost 100,000 people per day and has musical acts with huge names such as Chance the Rapper, Blink 182 and The Killers.

Variety's report states the shooter booked "multiple condos" at the Ogden, which was within sight of the September 22 through September 25 festival in downtown Vegas.

Las Vegas lunatic Stephen Paddock looked into assault areas in Chicago and Boston before settling on Sin City, as per reports distributed Thursday.

The hotel is cooperating with the authorities on this matter, said Carragher.

"He liked everybody to think that he was the guy", John Weinreich said. Paddock's booking of the hotel room was first reported by TMZ. Paddock also had fertilizers in his vehicle that could be used to make explosives.

"It's troublesome this individual was able to move this amount of gear inside the hotel room unassisted, Clerk County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said".

Detective Mike McCarthy said, with the police saying in a further statement that there was no threat to any venue in the city.

"While there, he wired me money which he said was for me to buy a house for me and my family", she said.

Even the No. 2 official in the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday he was surprised investigators have not uncovered more about why a man with no obvious criminal record would cause so much bloodshed.

Police believe Paddock, who shot himself after carrying out the Vegas outrage, had hoped to survive and flee. The official was not authorized to discuss the case publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity after being briefed on the investigation.

"We have a lot of work to do", FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe told reporters on Wednesday.

The disclosures of Paddock's enthusiasm for other potential targets rose as examiners attempted to dive up pieces of information into the inspirations driving the deadliest shooting in present day American history.

"There's all kinds of things that surprise us in each one of these events".
