Manhattan attack: Federal Bureau of Investigation found second Uzbek man in relation to truck attack

US Law Enforcement Hunting Second Person of Interest in NYC Truck Attack

Federal agents said they've located a person of interest in the Manhattan truck attack that left eight people dead and almost a dozen others injured.

Authorities apprehended Mukhammadzoir Kadirov, a 32-year-old Uzbekistan native, hours after releasing a wanted poster for him on Wednesday.

The man the Federal Bureau of Investigation said at one point it was seeking as a person of interest in the NY truck attack has condemned the plot and says it was "not from our religion". If you have any information, you're urged to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Officials say Saipov planned the New York City attack for months and did a test run on October 22.

The FBI is looking for a second suspect who may have been involved in the terror attack in lower Manhattan on Tuesday.

Saipov allegedly left a note in the truck that translated to "ISIS endures forever", though authorities and Gov. Andrew Cuomo have called him a "lone actor".

Saipov, who was shot and wounded by police, was taken to court the NY federal courthouse Wednesday in a wheelchair with his hands cuffed and feet shackled.

Sayfullo Saipov, a 29-year-old Uzbekistan immigrant who has been living in New Jersey, was charged on Wednesday with committing the attack in the name of the Islamic State militant group.
