Alleged 2018 Nokia 6 leaked in TENAA certification

Nokia 6

If rumors are to be believed, HMD Global is expected to launch Nokia 6 2018 within the next few days. Recently, TA-1054 i.e Nokia 6 2018 has been seen over Tenna in China. The company will offer the same 5.5-inch display but this time with smaller bezels which will reduce the overall form factor. But, as with most other 18:9 display-sporting phones, the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back of the phone to make way for the taller screen. The new model comes with an orange detail that goes around the camera and the flashlight, adding a splash of color. Even though the TENAA listing doesn't reveal anything about the upcoming handset, according to a report by NokiaPowerUser, this will be the Nokia 6 (2018).

To recap, Nokia 6 was launched with features like a 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 430 SoC, 3GB RAM, and 32GB expandable storage. Additionally, the leaked images (see above) suggests that the smartphone may come with software-rendered Android navigation buttons. The Nokia 6 is an updated version of a phone by the same name that released on January 19th of this year.

Meanwhile, HMD Global is working on another smartphone, which is most probably be called the Nokia 9. The Nokia 9 will be a high-end phone. Coming to the pricing, the smartphone will retail anywhere between $250 to $300 and expected to announce on CES in January 2018. The phone is expected to fall into the mid-range smartphone category.

Earlier there was a confusion regarding the new leaks in China that TA-1054 is not about Nokia 9, It is for Nokia 6 2018. The device is rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. As for cameras, there is a 16MP rear camera with LED Flash and an 8MP selfie shooter on the front. The smartphone ran Android Nougat 7.1.1 out-of-the-box. The Nokia 9 is expected to look similar to the Nokia 8 with a large display and waterproofing, but there's also apparently an updated Nokia 8 reboot on the way as well.
