Prince Harry later confessed: "You're excited about this and I'm nervous about it, that's what's quite amusing", to which Mr Obama replied: "I will interview you if you want". "I much prefer that".

Mr Obama quipped back: "Let me see the face", before joking, "I don't want to see that face".

According to the Kensington Palace Twitter account, the conversation between the two will include his post-presidential life activities, training the next generation of leadership through his foundation and more. "Because I'm a slow speaker", the former president asked the prince.

It's reported Mr Obama even teased Harry about his romance with Meghan Markle earlier this year at the Invictus Games.

Kensington Palace released a video of Obama and the prince joking around prior to the discussion.
