Princess Charlotte Looks Beyond Adorable on Her First Day of Nursery School

Princess Charlotte starts nursery - see sweet portraits taken by mum Kate

PRINCESS Charlotte has started nursery school, with her mother Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge photographing her beaming as she headed off to school on a freezing London winter's day.

According to the palace, the pictures were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge just before Charlotte left for school. During a family visit to Berlin in July previous year, she charmed ambassadors and dignitaries on the airport tarmac, smiling happily while shaking hands and accepting a baby bouquet of flowers as her parents looked on proudly.

She won't be following in the footsteps of her four-year-old brother Prince George, who attended Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk, England. Taking after your great-grandmother isn't all that bad, especially when she's the Queen.

Charlotte, who turns three in May, is a full-time pupil at Willcocks Nursery School.

Charlotte is sporting a red coat-it's possible to imagine her mom wearing a matching one for an engagement, no?-with a pink scarf and a pink backpack of some sort.

The £14,500-a-year school is owned and run by headmistress Lavinia Taylor.

Kensington Palace released a statement, saying: "Their Royal Highnesses have also announced this morning that Princess Charlotte will attend the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018".

But it appears that you get your money's worth, based on the glowing Ofsted report.

George, 4, started at St. Thomas's Battersea School in September. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January'. Here is Charlotte posing on the steps of Kensington.
