After he suffered the injury medical staffs loaded McLemore on a stretcher and the sophomore forward went immediately to a local Columbia hospital where further medical care was needed.

McElmore only had one point at the time of his injury, but he did have five rebounds and two blocks during his time on the court.

The video of the injury is gruesome. Pearl was only focused on keeping his starting center calm. "Doctors said I dislocated my ankle, fractured my tibia, and will need surgery for some torn ligaments". You got a potential for a shock there.

"It was really classy of Coach Martin to go out there and also put his hands on him", Pearl said. He is one of the most unique athletes in college basketball.

"No. 1 our prayers go out to McLemore and his family and his team", Booker said after his team's win. "They're not out of it in any shape or form, and the reason why you can say that is just look at the league". But those things are not fun to watch at all, even if its the other team. "I never thought I'd hear myself say that about a really good Auburn team, but that's the case with every team that plays against SC".

Martin also offered his support and best wishes to McLemore following the game.

Pearl said he told his team they can't worry about factors out of their control, such as McLemore's injury.

"Unbelievable young man", Martin said, "God bless him. It's real frustration as a coach to see one of your players go through something like that".

Of course, the most heartfelt messages came from McLemore's teammates.

He took to Twitter to break the news after the game.

No. 10 Auburn (23-3, 11-2 SEC) takes on SC (13-13, 4-9) at 2:30 Colonial Life Arena, with the game airing on SEC Network.

"What I seen, I just, I don't know what to say". Myers pulled up halfway into the paint for a floater and drew a foul on Auburn's Desean Murray. He was in pain at first, but I think it was more shocking to him. And then, I mean, I was just anxious about him.
