Daniel Bryan cleared by WWE doctors to return to in-ring action

Daniel Bryan's title win at Wrestle Mania 30 is regarded as one of the best moments of WWE's recent history

Okay, things are going to be a little different this week.

This move did not spell the end of Bryan's role in the WWE though.

The Yes Movement is in line for a reunion tour and it was surreal to see Bryan in the ring announcing he would be able to wrestle again.

Wrestling is so often a silly sport, but there are moments from time to time that you watch and can't help be moved by. But just so you know: It's a bit awkward. The emotionally charged segment had Bryan with tears in his eyes during the opening moments of Smackdown.

It's the specialists who were finally able to get Bryan, 36, cleared after WWE took another look at his case. Medical personnel then rushed to the scene and placed Bryan onto a stretcher. However, fans might be seeing a lot more from Bryan if he decides to stay on as WWE has now changed their stance, but whether or not that means Bryan decides to stay on remains to be seen.

One could nearly feel the energy coming from Bryan as he blasted Kevin Owens with kicks on the latest SmackDown, and (eventual stretcher job notwithstanding) it was great to see him back where he belongs. Everything about the opening and closing segments of this week's SmackDown was incredible, and are worth tuning in for alone.

Jimmy Uso goes head-to-head with one-half of The Bludgeon Brothers, as his brother Jey recovers from Harper & Rowan's all-out tag team slaughter at WWE Fastlane. The US title picture for the Wrestlemania 34 was confirmed to be a triple threat with Jinder Mahal officially added to the card on expected line. For what feels like the eighth week in a row Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev faced off. Rusev and Nakamura are terrific in-ring performers so it's not AS annoying. In 2002, he made his first two appearances in a WWE match but unfortunately, they didn't pan out well and he was quickly defeated.

The first match of the night was another SmackDown Live rewind special. The match itself is not the issue, though, but rather the result.

Natalya def. Charlotte Flair via pinfall: Flair and Natalya had themselves a solid back-and-forth, hard-hitting matchup, but it was interrupted by women's Money in the Bank briefcase holder Carmella. This news opens up all new possibilities for not only Bryan's future, but for WrestleMania 34 which is just three weeks away. So as of right now I'm not nervous, I'm not afraid, I am really just excited. The now-cleared Bryan was quick to point out how effective his wife was in pushing him to do all he needed to return to his passion. This match was effectively a glorified squash, but neither man comes out looking good.
