Sambalpur: Locals stage protest over double murder

Joseph Valdes, 21, of Lomita.

Officers arrested a man they say was armed with two knives and tried to grab an officer's gun Tuesday morning.

While attempting to break into the home, Valdes was confronted by the homeowner.

When Kentucky State Police troopers arrived, Hall began cursing at them and police could tell she was intoxicated, according to her arrest record. The driver left the vehicle and started running down an alley.

The accident took place on Tuesday afternoon when the officer, said to be assigned with the Traffic New Territories South Headquarters, was driving his private auto along the Sha Tin Heights section of Tai Po Road, heading towards Sha Tin, hk01.com reports.

The suspect is urged to hand himself over at the nearest police station, as a manhunt has been launched to bring him to book.

According to the Alamosa Police Department, officers from the Alamosa Police Department and Adams State University Police Department responded to an area residence at 12:40 p.m. after an off-duty Adams State Police Department officer saw a male and female subject exiting the back door of the residence.

Investigators later discovered Valdes was on parole for assault with a deadly weapon.

"We will file our findings with the Attorney-General's Chambers on completion of the investigations." he said when contacted. He was taken to the hospital where he died in January 2017.
