Trump, British prime minister, Obamas not on guest list for royal wedding

Donald Trump not invited to Harry and Meghan's wedding

When it comes to the upcoming royal wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are just saying no to politics.

It looks like President Trump, former President Obama, and other world leaders have not been invited to the Royal Wedding.

A notable name now likely missing from the guest list due to this new announcement is former U.S. President Barack Obama, whom many thought would attend the nuptials due to his friendship with Harry. Her Majesty's Government was consulted.

"Prince Harry and Ms".

Prince Harry and Markle commissioned the help of photographer Alexi Lubomirski for their engagement shoot, and he recently weighed in on the overwhelming responses to the pictures, which centered around Markle's outfit choice.

Prince Harry founded the Paralympic-style competition for wounded service men and women and veterans in 2014. Downing Street also confirmed that Prime Minister May will not be in attendance.

"William is heir to the throne and one day will be King so his wedding was a state event unlike Harry's", the source says, referencing Prince William and Kate Middleton's 2011 wedding.

Weddings involving senior royals typically feature scores of the grand and good, politicians, princes and presidents from around the world.

The nature of the guests and their choice of venue reflect Harry's position. The couple will have no have political guests at their wedding on May 19 at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

When asked concerning the Obamas' possible presence on December 27 on BBC Radio 4's Nowadays app, Prince Harry replied: "I don't even understand about that - we all harbor't put the invitation and also the guest record collectively".

The charitable duo are inviting 1,200 members of the public into their celebration at Windsor Castle-they'll be among the 2,640 people invited-and this week they highlighted some of the people who have received invitations. Philip Gillespie from Ballymena who lost his right leg in an IED incident in Afghanistan and works to raise funds and awareness for ABF The Soldiers' Charity.

Twelve-year-old Amelia Thompson who was caught up in last year's Manchester Arena terror attack in which 23 people were killed and hundreds more injured, is also on the list.

Harry and Meghan have selected a more intimate group of people.
