Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola 'worried' about Borussia Dortmund strong tackles

Hart included in Man City's pre-season tour of the US

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says his next move needs to be "permanent" rather than another loan.

Guardiola has also suffered a setback in the transfer market this summer with Napoli's Italian worldwide midfielder Jorginho following manager Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea and although Leicester's Riyad Mahrez has signed for 60 million pounds ($79 million), the Spaniard is poised to begin the season with nearly the same squad.

"It would have been a mistake for us and for him if he came here when he wanted to go with Maurizio".

Guardiola told the club's official website after the game: "We did many good things". I have watched him from a distance and seen good performances. "We had just one week or ten days together - most of the team played together for the first time".

Watch the players board their flight, train in front of the fans, visit the iconic Willis Tower and then kick of their preseason with a game against Borussia Dortmund at Soldier Field.

Guardiola admits Man City missed out on ‘an exceptional player’ in Jorginho

Hart was called into action with 19 minutes remaining, the out-of-favour former England number one - who spent last season on loan at West Ham - denying Jadon Sancho.

Manchester City's new record signing Riyad Mahrez, Joe Hart and France World Cup victor Benjamin Mendy have been included in the club's squad for the summer tour to the United States. In a Guardiola team, when defences are often constantly stretched, that adds another dimension and explains why the Catalan returned for his player after missing out in the January transfer window when the Foxes were quoting a £95 million price tag.

A video has emerged on social media of the tactician taking on a few of his own players in a penalty shootout. In City's Premier League opener against Arsenal on August 12, those positions will be taken by Kyle Walker and Fernandinho.

"I really hope that it is a good fit for the game over here and I will certainly be doing everything I can to make sure it works out".

"I need to do what's right for me and my family and that's the decision I'll be making", said Hart.
