Samsung to unveil phone with four rear cameras?

Samsung Moves To Mid-Range Phones For Mobile Growth

Huawei CEO, Richard Yu, has earmarked 2021 as the year Shenzhen-based company will overtake Samsung as the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world.

In the aforementioned interview, Koh confirmed that the phone would probably be unveiled at this year's Samsung Developer Conference which is set to take place on November 7.

While Samsung may have come up with a response to that question, Koh refused to divulge that answer, or any design details about the phone. The stories have split opinion in our editorial office, between those who think a quad-rear camera on a new Galaxy A is coming, and those who need to see it in order to believe it.

It follows Koh's previous hints that the phone is nearly ready, but also complicated to develop.

While the world waits for Apple to announce its 2018 lineup of iPhones, Samsung may be getting ready to upstage the Cupertino company by taking the wraps off of its own device, and one that has been at the center of many rumors over the past year or so.

Previously, it was reported that Samsung's upcoming foldable smartphone would use a single screen. For example, it has released the results of several consumer surveys that suggest that there is consumer appetite for one.

Samsung is reportedly working on a smartphone with four cameras that it plans to launch this year.

It could lead to a handset that can easily transform into a tablet - simply by unfolding it.

Samsung has long discussed the idea of releasing a folding phone. That's why the Korean giant wants to embed functionalities that will make customers realize that the form factor lets them do things that were unimaginable on other devices.

The document shows a narrow Samsung device with a screen that bends and folds like an old-school flip phone handset, with a large hinge. When unfolded, the device will offer a different experience than a tablet.
