The Chaser Projected Alan Jones' Phone Number Onto The Opera House

The Chaser project new ad onto Opera House as Jones apologises for Louise Herron interview

Scores of demonstrators shined torches onto the sails of the national icon to obscure the projection at Circular Quay as the event went live at approximately 7:45pm on Tuesday.

Meantime, Jones still got his way, the NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian is still Jones' puppet and Louise Herron is now a role-model to all Australians for standing up to this politically motivated fuckwits.

The Racing NSW promo is set to appear on the side of the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday evening.

The government sparked outrage by overturning the decision of Opera House management, which had rejected the promotion of the race on the grounds that it breached its guidelines.

"To avoid any perceived integrity risk, Racing NSW has determined that all betting on the 2018 The TAB Everest be suspended commencing at 12pm today (9 October 2018), until the final barriers have been publicly displayed this evening".

The forecourt and surrounding areas of the Opera House were packed with onlookers and people looking to make a stand against the use of the building to promote race colours, barrier draw numbers and The Everest Trophy for the lucrative event.

In a letter to the premier on Tuesday, the NSW Heritage Council said it was extremely disappointed with the government's decision and described the projection as "inappropriate".

"If anyone wants to advertise on the biggest billboards in Sydney, this guy called Alan is apparently in charge".

"The specific exemption for the Opera House says you can't do it if it's commercial", Mr Quint said.

The radio presenter said he was bombarded with "anonymous phone calls. every minute" after The Chaser projected his personal mobile phone number onto the sails of the Opera House and on the walls of NSW Parliament House the previous night.

State and federal politicians have weighed in on the stoush, including Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who believed the promotion of the event was a "no-brainer".
