Jurgen Klopp escapes ban but handed FA fine after Origi goal celebration

There were some excellent tackles- Dyche defends Burnley players after Klopp criticism

A freak injury-time goal from Liverpool substitute Divock Origi settled the Merseyside derby and kept Jurgen Klopp's unbeaten team hard on the heels of Premier League pacesetters Manchester City on Sunday.

Klopp sprinted onto the pitch to celebrate with goalkeeper Alisson after the Belgium global netted in the 96th minute to earn the Reds a 1-0 win at Anfield on Sunday.

Origi has now scored three goals in the Merseyside derby and Klopp said he has rarely viewed scenes like his dramatic late victor.

The Brazil global has been asked to play a more withdrawn role behind Mohamed Salah in the No.10 role due to alterations made by Klopp to Liverpool's midfield set-up.

"We got it (the win) and we'll take it and it was a brilliant night". I did immediately afterwards to Marco Silva; I didn't want to be disrespectful but I couldn't stop myself. It's football. I can not tell you if it was disrespectful because I didn't see it.

"I'm always thinking around that nine or 10 mark when you really get that grounded fitness and you get your eye in and get used to what's going on again in the Premier League. I think we deserved the three points". "I didn't see any disrespect", he said. I don't know if we had scored in that moment what my reaction would be. "Everybody probably thought we'd settled for the draw but we've shown this season that we dig deep many a time and come up with the goods late on". If there was no rule against it we, as managers, would constantly celebrate on the pitch and you would say "that's nice" (and) the whole bench would run there.

'Sadio and Robbo, we need to have another look today, ' Klopp said on Tuesday.

Origi might have won the game minutes earlier, striking a shot against the bar before Daniel Sturridge's follow-up struck Gylfi Sigurdsson and led to strong penalty claims. We don't think or speak too much about the game before when we go into the next game.
