Floyd Mayweather Makes Quick Work Of Hopeless Kickboxer

Watch: Floyd Mayweather Destroys Tenshin Nasukawa In One Round

When the fight was first announced for RIZIN, questions abounded about the rule set for Floyd Mayweather's bout with Tenshin Nasukawa.

Although officially retired, Mayweather has said he will continue to take part in exhibition fights, like the one in Toyoko today.

Mayweather, 41, expanded on his enduring retirement plans during a post-fight press conference. However, the fight was still worth $9 million to Mayweather, according to what he disclosed on social media recently. Mayweather toyed with him throughout. The Japanese crowd were well behind their fighter as the two boxers entered the ring but that was as good as things got for the home crowd. I did not beat Mayweather at my age of 20 but I came with courage to the fight. I'm still 50-0. Tenshin is still undefeated. Toyko, Japan - you guys are wonderful - I want to say "Thank you".

"I want to thank God for this turn out and the event". "I don't look forward to coming back to boxing. It's all about entertainment", Mayweather said, once again using his favorite phrase and forgetting that Nasukawa probably did not find much entertainment on the night.

The opening round starts off with Nasukawa circling towards the left jab of Mayweather, who had a huge smile on his face and was slowly walking Nasukawa down. "I'm still undefeated. This was just entertainment for the people".

Nasukawa entered the ring with a 28-0 kickboxing record and 4-0 MMA record. He's still a true champion.

'Tenshin hold your head up high, I want the fans to support him, he's a great guy, a great fighter and great champion.

The boxing legend revealed Monday he remains retired from the sport and has no intention of making a professional comeback.
