Las Vegas Police issue warrant to obtain Cristiano Ronaldo's DNA

English model Jasmine Lennard vows to expose Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo firmly denies the claims and is offering police full cooperation, including providing a DNA sample, United States news outlet TMZ Sports reports, citing sources close to the player.

Inside the document, Cristiano Ronaldo was said to have offered Kathryn Mayorga £287,000 for her not to speak about anything that happened between the two of them in Las Vegas.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has issued a warrant for Ronaldo's DNA.

The police case was closed in 2009 when the alleged victim, Kathryn Mayorga, declined to name her assailant.

"Mr. Ronaldo has always maintained, as he does today, that what occurred in Las Vegas in 2009 was consensual in nature", Christiansen wrote, "so it is not surprising that DNA would be present, nor that the police would make this very standard request as part of their investigation".

The German newspaper Der Spiegel reported in October past year that Ronaldo allegedly employs a team of fixers, including at least one private detective, to deal with the public relations disaster he faced after he was accused of rape by Kathryn Mayorga.

Central to Der Spiegel's account is a questionnaire in which Ronaldo reportedly admits that Mayorga told him "no" and "stop" multiple times.

Once the warrant has made its way through the Italian court system, officials will then serve it and, if Ronaldo complies, collect the samples and send them back to U.S. officials.

Investigators in Las Vegas found DNA on Mayorga's dress belonging to someone else, the law enforcement official confirmed to the newspaper.

Ronaldo then allegedly raped Mayorga, despite her screaming "no", before saying: "Sorry, I'm usually a gentleman". It was then that the dress she had worn was collected for evidence.

Later that night, Mayorga went to the police to the report the assault and had a rape kit done.
